These sarees are woven by the weavers at Ponnai near sholighur of Vellore District and Ponnur in Thiruvannamalai District of Tamil Nadu.
The sarees are produced with 60s cotton tie & Dyed yarn in both the borders and pallu portion giving aesthetic appeal. The Pallu motifs are mostly geometrical and floral designs.
